Directions
Today’s recipe is a quick and healthy meal, ready in no more than 10 minutes.
For this meal try to buy the best quality and fresh tuna you can.
2 tuna steaks, about 150 g each
2 tbsp white sesame seeds
1 spring onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, finely chopped
Salad leaves
½ lemon
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
Heat a non-stick pan until hot.
Drizzle half the oil over the tuna, season and turn them in the sesame seeds to coat.
Cook the tuna for 2-3 mins on each side or until the sesame crust has formed, but the fish is still pink in the middle.
Allow to rest for 3-5 minutes, then serve with salad leaves, onion, tomato and olive oil.
Keep the lemon wedges for squeezing over.
