Goodies’ time is here 😊

Today’s recipe is about one oldie but Goldie dessert, with tea flavor 🍵✨

250 g all purpose flour

150 g sugar

200 ml buttermilk

60 g butter, melted

2 eggs

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 tsp matcha

200 g butter, room temperature

400 g icing sugar

75 ml whipping cream

1 ½ tsp matcha

Preheat the oven to 190 C and prepare a muffin pan.

In a large bowl sift together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

In a mug mix the eggs, buttermilk, butter and matcha until well combined.

Add to the large bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

Put the batter in prepared muffin papers and bake for 17-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow them to cool before frosting.

Using a mixer beat the butter and sugar on low speed until fluffy and well combined.

Add the whipping cream and matcha and mix until everything is well combined, no more the 1 minute.

Using a piping bag decorate the cupcakes as you like.
