Today’s recipe is a very simple one, meatless and loaded with flavor✨🍄

500 g oyster mushrooms, cut in pieces

100 g all purpose flour

100 g Panko breadcrumbs

2 egg whites, beaten

30 g parmesan, grated

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp chili flakes

3 tbsp vegetable oil

Salt & pepper, to taste

To serve

Salad leaves

Lemon, EVOO, salt & pepper

Sriracha sauce

Prepare 3 dishes for the coat:

In the first one mix flour, garlic powder, chili flakes and paprika.

In a separate one whisk egg whites.

In the third one mix the Panko with parmesan.

Coat each mushroom in flour, then dip in egg whites, then in Panko mixture. Repeat for all mushrooms.

Heat the oil in a pan, add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown – about 4-6 minutes.

Serve with salad and sriracha sauce.
